China has been blasted as a "bully country" and international law breaker after its ships dramatically blasted Philippine vessels with water cannon in the South China Sea. Philippine Coast Guard spokesman Jay Tarriela said it was the first time the Philippines had seen such aggression from the Chinese, in the disputed waters near Scarborough Shoal. China claims the territory as its own and warned the Philippines not to challenge their sovereignty there.
