Families already apprehensive
about the news of their loved ones have a long wait ahead of them as clearance
of the rubble of the collapsed building in George continues.
"Because of the magnitude of this, I don't foresee that we are going finish within the next seven to 10 days," said Gerhard Otto, head of disaster management in the Garden Route District Municipality.
The operation is still regarded as a rescue mission, not a recovery.
