More tense college protests relating to the Gaza War takes place across the nation. A total of 2,000 people arrested connected to these campus protest as the Israel-Hamas war rages on. Police arrested 132 UCLA protesters early Thursday morning and SWAT teams have been deployed. UCLA Pro-Palestine protesters had a nine-hour standoff with police. This comes as multiple brawls broke out and firecrackers exploded at a UCLA protest, all happening right outside of the pro-Palestine encampments in the Westwood part of the campus. This all a part of campus wide protests across the nation, including colleges like Columbia University, USF, George Washington University, and USC, Portland, among others. The fight broke out shortly after pro-Israel protesters started to play music outside the pro-Palestine encampments. The Jewish students even arguing amongst each other.
